Who we are?


OKL basic crew over many years is shown on the attached picture:

1. Ryszard Witkowski (since 1990) - longtime manager of Flight Data Analysis Dpt. in LOT Polish Airlines, he specializes in developing of operational and technical analyzes for different types of aircraft, took part in the works of Polish and foreign aviation accidents and incidents investigation committees, meetings of the ICAO flight recorders panel in Montreal, avionics conferences and many projects where data from the flight recorders have been used; graduated from aviation specialty of Rzeszow University of Technology; glider, hang glider and sport airplane pilot

2. Mieczyslaw Holc (since 1979) - OKL employee with the longest seniority and the biggest experience in processing and analysis of all types of crash recorders and CVRs, in which aircrafts of LOT Polish Airlines were equipped, he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation KIIGA

 

3. Andrzej Surmacz (since 1986) - longtime OKL employee, readouts of crash recorders, continues maintenance of Quick Access Recorders and flight data monitoring, aviation modeller

 

 

4. Wiesław Sielski (since 1990) - longtime OKL employee, readouts of crash recorders, continues maintenance of Quick Access Recorders and flight data monitoring, currently OKAEL Ltd. Co. managing; he graduated from Polish Air Force Academy in Deblin and Poznan University

 

 

5. Marek Paradysz (since 1990) - longtime OKL specialist dealing with frame data format and analysis preparing for different types of aircrafts in FDS and Aerobytes software; graduated from Warsaw University of Technology; currently OKAEL Ltd. Co. managing

 

 

6. Tomasz Majerowski (since 1990) - longtime OKL employee, readouts of crash recorders, continues maintenance of Quick Access Recorders and flight data monitoring

 

 

7. Janusz Swół (since 1995) - longtime OKL specialist dealing with IT support, he created many aplets and supplemental aplications useful in operational areas; currently OKAEL cooperator in IT projects (C++, Delphi, Java, PhP); graduated from aviation specialty of Rzeszow University of Technology

 

In addition to employees visible in the picture there were people who in the history of OKL have contributed to its organizational and substantive development:

  • - Leonard Borkowski; the first manager of OKL in LOT Polish Airlines, he retired in 1994,
  • - Andrzej Górski; one of the first employees of OKL, moved to work in the operating structures of LOT,
  • - Roman Woźniak; longtime OKL employee, he retired in 2007,
  • - Piotr Lipiec; employed in OKL between 1998-2002, currently State Commission of Aircraft Accident Investigation,
