Papers presented below were prepared mainly for avionics conferences, which are held in Poland every three years. They largely reflect the theme of our every day activity former in LOT Polish Airlines and now in OKAEL Ltd. Co. Publication of these information is an attempt of filling some information gap that exists between the realm of the strictly scientific, represented by research institutions or organizations responsible for its development and the airline which has an access to modern technical solutions, but because of its specific nature has no scientific base. Very often we receive requests for such information or materials from students or graduates of aerospace, transportation, electronics or computer profile etc., who also recognize the above-mentioned phenomenon. So it is also within our capabilities, the answer to these needs. Of course, the progress in the field of avionics and flight data analysis is so fast that some information of the papers may be outdated, and some described hardware or software has been replaced by the newer one.
